A message to a +1 number costs $0.00507 per segment. Long texts are split into segments of 153 GSM-7 or 67 Unicode characters; the table shows the price of one message at each length.

Delivery webhooks
A signed event for every delivered or failed message, retried 10 times. No charge per event.

Messages, batches of 10,000, estimates, balance and prices, with 600 requests per minute per key.
Scheduling
Batches wait until send_at, up to 45 days ahead, and cancel with a full refund.
Refunds for failed messages
A message that fails returns its full price to the balance on its own, shown as a refund line.
Number cleaning
Spaces, dashes, brackets and 00 prefixes are fixed; duplicates and invalid numbers are set aside before pricing.
Console and reports
Campaigns from a pasted list or CSV, live counts per batch and a ledger of every balance change.

Message counts use the United States at $0.00507 per segment. How payments work
How a send is priced
Each recipient is priced on its own: the price per segment of the country the number belongs to, times the number of segments in that recipient's text. A batch with personal texts can mix one-segment and two-segment messages, and the estimate shows both.
The country comes from the number itself. Shared calling codes are told apart by their prefixes: +1 numbers by area code (Canada, the Caribbean and the United States each have their own price), +44 numbers for Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, +7 numbers for Kazakhstan, and +262 numbers for Mayotte.
The total is taken from the balance when the request is accepted, and every failed message comes back as a refund line in the ledger. Nothing is billed at the end of the month.
Check a price before you send
POST /v1/estimates takes the same body as a batch and returns the cost, the segments and a split by country, without sending or charging anything. The console composer shows the same estimate as you type.
GET /v1/pricing and GET /v1/pricing/DE are public, so a checkout page or an internal dashboard can show live prices without storing a key.
